Moore received her first film role as the lead role in Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to play the lead role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. It was among the most watched films of in the year. She was awarded a SAG Awards nomination in Magnolia during 1999. In 2002, she co-starred with The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman as well as Meryl Streep. Moore is also featured in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. In 2014 she appeared in Non-Stop. Moore is a veteran of numerous television and film series.
