Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold for team events along with the floor workouts. In the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. She was the first Olympic gymnast who won the most medals. She won the gold during the team competition of the 2016 Olympics this made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to have back-to-back golds. Furthermore, she was awarded two silver medals for the floor exercise and individual all-around. Between her two Olympic Games, she took a break. Gold medal winner American team also won 2 World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at the age of two and her favorite event is floor exercise. Aly is an active member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation to honor her mother, who died of cancer. Aly hopes to achieve a successful career in fashion. Her signature leotards, socks and other items will be expanded on in the near future. The book she is working on is named Fierce to be published in the coming months.
